Would you like to take part in our DiveMaster training?

We offer the opportunity to become part of our team for a couple of months as a volunteer, to gain real hands-on experience of working in a dive center during your PADI DiveMaster course. It happens in our Dive Center in Nungwi, Zanzibar! The experience you gain here will be perfect resume’ material for a future DiveMaster job.

You will gain insight and real experience of a day to day work of a diving operation.

You can attend this program with any level of certification, non divers are also welcome.

And this is how it works:

The DiveMaster Internship is open to people of any nationality and cultural background.

To begin your Divemaster Internship you must be at least 18 years old and hold a rescue diver certification. If you are not at this level we will provide training to get you there to start the Divemaster course. You can complete these pre-required courses with us for a minimum rate, paying only the PADI fees.

The Divemaster Internship will last at least three months.

Conditions

During the Divemaster Internship all costs of diving activities and training are covered by us.

Your expenses:

      • Dive Master Kit, paid direct to PADI (from your hometown or from here) .
      • Room rental in staff house (include water, electricity, cleaning).
      • Student Visa for 3 months.
      • Food and personal expenses.

Since you will be joining dive trips and courses, you will get to meet real students and participate in their diver education; you will really experience what Divemaster’s job  rather than just theory.
You will learn all the logistics, organization and ‘back stage’ work involved to make a day trip or dive course happen.

While you are part of our facility you will learn about all the different PADI programs and become familiar with all the procedures required for being a PADI professional.
You will learn how to apply international PADI standards in order to meet customer expectations.

By the end of the Divemaster Internship you will have accumulated at least 60 dives (probably more)  and will be granted a PADI Divemaster certificate.
