To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and to be in good physical health.

No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

Divers in Zanzibar


Come snorkeling in the clear waters and colorful coral reefs around Zanzibar. Enjoy a large variety of tropical fish and other marine life safely with our experienced snorkel guides. Lifejackets, short wetsuits and buoyancy aids available. We offer snorkeling trips to Mnemba Island, a protected marine park, Tumbatu Island, and Kendwa reef. The chance of seeing or even snorkeling with dolphins on the way to Mnemba is very good!



A one-day experience to try out scuba diving under the close supervision of an instructor. Learn a little dive theory followed by a short practice session in the pool before joining us on real open ocean dives to a maximum depth of 12m! A DSD is a good introduction to scuba diving before taking a certification course.

Diving scenery


Two-day course including dive theory, confined water skill practice, and two open water dives to a maximum depth of 12m. Completion of this course certifies you to a depth of 12m accompanied by a PADI professional.


Three to four day course, including dive theory, skill practice in shallow water, and four open water dives. PADI Open Water course is the most popular scuba diving certification course worldwide. The OW course certifies you to 18m. You can start the Open Water course with no prior experience. To save you time on vacation the dive theory can be completed beforehand with PADI elearning.


Two day course with five open water dives! This course is intended to improve your skills and take your open water diving to a new level. You will complete mandatory adventure dives (deep and navigation) and choose between the various specialty dives such as fish ID, peak performance buoyancy, night and many others! This course certifies you to a depth of 30m.

Rescue Diver is a four-day course that prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of response techniques. Through knowledge development, skill practice, and rescue exercises you will bring your diving to a new level. You will learn to recognize and respond to problems underwater and at the surface.

1-2 day course; you will learn to provide primary and secondary emergency care including CPR and first aid techniques. EFR course includes theory and practical sessions where you can practice applying your skills.
